Meshuggah — Contradictions Collapse

White Vinyl limited to 700 copies. / 2018 Reissue and Remaster featuring re-imagined cover art, a re-designed layout, and a new "mastered for vinyl" audio. / Housed in a gatefold sleeve. / Compared to Meshuggah's later material, Contradictions Collapse almost seems conventional. This album is essentially an overlong Thrash Metal album through and through, showing only occasionally the Funk/Jazz workouts that would have become the band's main feature since their second album on. Some tracks, like "Greed" and "Cadaverous Mastication" even sound musical and (almost) good, but, as always, the songwriting variation is literally absent
