Borsao ' Tres Picos ' 2018 Garnacha 750ml

Winemaker Notes Very intense cherry red color with tones of purple. Presents in the nose a great concentration of aromas of ripe red fruit with floral nuances. In the mouth it is a well structured rich wine that evokes tastes of blackberry, plum and tones of leather and vanilla, with a soft and silky tannin. Critical Acclaim JS 90 James Suckling A lightly jammy garnacha, offering plenty of fruit with some chocolate. It’s full-bodied with some firmness. Nicely layered with a lightly smoky undertone. V 90 Vinous Bright violet. Oak-spiced dark berries, licorice and mocha on the nose; a smoky nuance emerges with air. Broad, sweet and well-concentrated, offering cherry-vanilla, cola and blackberry flavors that show no rough edges. Closes with repeating oak-spice character and strong tenacity and supple tannins lending grip. There's a lot of oak here but there's plenty of fruit as well. Drinking window: 2022 - 2027
