This listing is for the standard edition 4-disc 4k UHD/Blu-ray release. The limited edition hard slipcase + slipcover combo (designed by Robert Sammelin) was limited to 7,000 units and is sold out. The two versions are identical, aside from the packaging and 40-page book. During the 1980's, Cynthia Rothrock was making a name for herself as "The Queen of Martial Arts," after displaying her fighting talents in numerous Hong Kong films. Still virtually unknown in the States at the time, Golden Harvest Studios wanted to expand Rothrock's fame by having her appear in an American production. Tapping Robert Clouse (Enter the Dragon) to direct, CHINA O'BRIEN and its sequel CHINA O'BRIEN 2 brought Rockrock's hard hitting martial arts style to Western audiences for the first time. CHINA O'BRIEN: Lori "China" O'Brien is a tough as nails big city cop.
