Amidst the legendary names of Vosne-Romanée, such as DRC, Domaine Leroy, and Méo-Camuzet, an internal evolution has been quietly unfolding at Domaine Arnoux-Lachaux. Over the decades, Pascal Lachaux worked tirelessly to revive the legacy Domaine Robert Arnoux, named for his father-in-law who died in 1995. With very little experience, Lachaux took over winemaking duties in the 1990s with fresh eyes and a thoughtful approach. By making small adjustments in vineyard applications, vinification processes, and aging vessels, Lachaux created long-lasting effects with minor shifts in methodologies. Over the years, this gradual transformation spawned a new era in quality, inspiring a change in name to Domaine Arnoux-Lachaux in 2008 to reflect this shift.
