Each of the albums has been remastered by Bob Ludwig at Gateway Studios in Maine and the vinyl mastering was done by Chris Bellman at Bernie Grundman Mastering in Los Angeles. Simon Climie, Clapton's long-time co-producer and engineer, oversaw these definitive remasters which are pressed on 180gram vinyl. To further elevate the audio quality, Behind the Sun and August (originally released as single LPs) have been remastered as 3-sided double albums - to ensure that no single LP side exceeds 20 minutes.
