In this context, this course introduces eco-Marxist theory in the tradition of Engels, Bellamy Foster, and complexity science. We look at how these ideas relate to eco-activism today: such as mass human blockades of weapon shipments, oil pipelines, and human deportations; and fighting eco-Fascist responses to the climate crisis.
