100% pure Jojoba carrier oil. Although jojoba oil is often categorized as an "oil" because of its pale yellow, transparent, liquid appearance, it is actually a liquid wax ester. Wax esters are generally straight-chain esters of mono-unsaturated long chain fatty acids and fatty alcohols. Its fatty acids make it an excellent face and body care oil especially suited for dry and mature skin. Jojoba oil is the ideal basis since it has no inherent odor and the oil cannot oxidize, therefore is preferred in blending and diluting the essential oils. Made in Switzerland.
