Christian, Orthodox icon of St. Prince Theodore of Chernigov in a silver cover. Second half of the 19th century, Moscow, Russia. The icon is painted with tempera on a wooden board, the reverse side of the icon is covered with velvet, a chased, engraved with gilding silver frame is applied to the icon. The frame has a Moscow assay mark of 1884, assayer "В.П", silver of 84 assay value, which corresponds to the metric sample (1000/875) and the master's mark "K. ROTKOV". Condition: good, without damage, minor dents on the ends of the silver frame, traces of use. Origin: The icon comes from a private collection in the USA. Христианская, Православная икона Св. Князь Феодор Черниговский в серебряном окладе. Вторая половина XIX века, Москва, Россия.
