Jesus Christ is depicted as the King of Heaven, sitting solemnly upon his Throne. The right hand of the Saviour is raised in a gesture of blessing and his left hand holds an open Gospel. On the reverse side of the piece is an image of the Holy Mother, holding in her hand a scroll with a prayer to the Lord. A decorative border made up of four adornments with twelve beads placed between them runs along the edges of the piece.
