Hollow Rock German Spelt Whiskey

Originated in the Black Forest of Germany, this whiskey is produced from spelt grain - an ancestor of modern-day wheat. The grain for this whiskey is grown at the distillery making this whiskey a single sourced product from grain to glass which is harder and harder to find on the modern whiskey market. Aged for 5 years in refilled and new oak barrels this expression of whiskey is very complex with the spelt offering both spicy and sweet hints of flavor and a rounder fuller mouth feel than traditional grain.
