ABOUT THE ARTIST Anna Kim is a Filipino American artist based in San Francisco. She paints in her private studio in the SoMa District of San Francisco. At a young age growing up in the Philippines, Anna discovered her talent when she started drawing portraits and nature. Later in life, she developed a love of photography, which she considers another extension of her artistry. Her career spanned 15+ years: it started in the darkroom and culminated in professional photography. She was also a proprietor and cake artist making one-of-a-kind custom cakes for a few years while raising her family. Today, she focuses on her love of painting where she is recogniz
