BLACK KEY FELT DISC 11/16" (17.5mm)

All of our saxophone key felts are die cut from the finestgrade of felt available, woven from 100% wool. Unlike felt that is woven using ablend of wool and synthetics (such as rayon), felt made from 100% wool is moredense.Density is an important factor in a saxophone felt because of thenecessity for maintaining proper key adjustment. Less dense grades of feltare spongy and easily compress after a short time, which means keys can go outof adjustment soon after leaving the shop. Technicians will also find thatunlike synthetic blends that shred and tear, 100% wool felt is easier to cut andtrim. Diameter: 11/16" (17.5mm) Thickness: 1/16" (1.6mm)
