Z1 Q50 / Q60 VR30 Baffled Oil Catch Can Kit

*** Purchase of this Oil Catch Can is for In-House Installs Only and will Not be shipped.***   The Z1 Baffled Catch Can Kit filters oil and other particulates from the PCV (Positive Crankcase Ventilation) system on Infiniti Q50 and Q60 models equipped with the 3.0t VR30 powertrain. Blow-by is a phenomenon that is normal to some degree in any internal combustion engine. Combustion gasses leak past the piston rings into the crankcase, creating excess crankcase pressure. The PCV (Positive Crankcase Ventilation) system removes these excess gasses by using intake vacuum to draw them back into the intake where they are consumed, but not without catching oil mist in the process. On turbocharged engines, higher levels of blow-by caused by the increased cylinder pressure creates additional pressure in the crankcase, resulting in higher levels of oil and contaminants being drawn into the intake system and coating the insides of the intake and valves. Inside of the driver-side valve cover, Nissan
