Zinio Rioja Crianza

Zinio Rioja Crianza Spain Tempranillo 2018 Vintage 14.5% ABV Zinio Bodegas 91 pts James Suckling Zinio is made from Tempranillo grapes selected from our oldest vineyards in Rioja Alta.  Aged in French and American oak for 14 months.  As a result, a modern and elegant wine with deep garnet color, expressive and well-defined aromas and a notable balance between fruit and fine wood is obtained.  Goes well with stews, vegetables, roasts, game, grilled meat and cod.  Serve at 62-64 degrees Fahrenheit. Crushed berry and chocolate character with light spice and vanilla character on the nose and palate.  Medium to full body.  Firm tannins.  Drink now, but a year or two will soften it.
