Sleeping Fox Jewelry Holder, Ceramic Evergreen Leaf Trinket Dish with Gold Accent

This little fox fell asleep among the forest trees. Foxes are said to bring protection and good luck, a perfect combination when finding a place for your special jewelry.  This fox ceramic jewelry dish is handcrafted, glazed and fired in my studio. This little fox figurine keeps watch over this beautiful ceramic dish, a spot for your rings, earrings, or other jewelry.  This ceramic piece is made from smooth porcelain-like stoneware clay, dried, bisque fired, glazed, and kiln-fired once more at approximately 2200 degrees Fahrenheit. The botanical impression is made with a real fir sprig and real cones, and carefully handpainted to accent the intricate detail. The orange fox is the charming centerpiece of the leaf dish. The glaze is a glossy soft clear, warm white on the underside. Real 22kt gold overglaze is applied to the rim in a special process, and the dish is fired a third time to bond the gold to the piece. It's a labor intensive process that gives a special finishing touch.  This
