Sleeping Bunny with Lemon Clover, Ceramic Jewelry Dish with Real Gold

Besides good luck and good fortune, the rabbit symbolizes renewal and new beginnings (coming from the rabbit's appearance in springtime). The white rabbit is specifically associated with new spiritual beginnings, the release of old fears, and the welcoming of hope and possibilities. Here the little bunny is paired with wood sorrel, also called lemon clover or shamrock clover. Although often considered a weed in lawns, wood sorrel is a favorite of bees, butterflies, and wild bunnies! This bunny jewelry dish is one of a kind art piece -  handcrafted, glazed and fired in my studio. A bunny sculpture sleeps among the imprints of delicate heart-shaped leaves and gold, dreaming of carrots, creating a peaceful little spot for your treasures, trinkets, and incense cones.  This jewelry dish is made from smooth porcelain-like stoneware clay, dried, bisque fired, glazed, and high-fired once more at approximately 2200 degrees Fahrenheit.
