Ceremonial Grade Kyoto Matcha
Let's talk matcha. The good matcha—high quality, fresh, vibrant, best flavor—is produced on a small scale. Matcha is an art. It's labor intensive, delicate and requires a lot of skill. While larger matcha suppliers have the capacity for more volume, they often compromise on flavor and quality. DONA Ceremonial Matcha comes from several small producers in 3 major tea growing regions of Japan—Kyoto, Kagoshima, & Shizuoka, Japan, all dedicated to their craft. This ceremonial grade comes from Kyoto (Uji). It is stored in an airtight tin with lid and then housed in a paper tube that specifies ceremonial grade on the label. The matcha is fresh, smooth, and toasty with a clean finish. Origin: Kyoto Technique: shade grown, freshly milled Farm Type: Small family farm Tasting notes: Toasty, buttery, smooth 30g tin.
