The Dance of Autumn Necklace

I love the abstract quality of this stones that lends itself to the imagination! I see trees with autumn leaves being taken in the wind. The dance of autumn, no? I wanted this piece to have a little weight to it, to feel the preciousness of these beautiful materials this Earth provides us, so I used a lot of silver in this design. The backplate is reclaimed silver that I melted down and rolled out so it had some minor imperfections which you can see in some of the tiny imperfections. Surrounding the stone is a tall wire of silver that really provides a frame worthy of such a stone. When I put this piece on to take pictures of it, I could really feel how special it is.  Stones: Dendritic Agate  Chain: 16" sterling silver, though a 2" extender can be added upon request!  Metals: Recycled Sterling Silver  Please note: Each piece is handcrafted with my own two hands.
