It took months of "gluten-free" recipe trials by our Royal Chef Michel Dubongoût, in our test kitchen in Brooklyn. When the King finally smiled approvingly, we knew we'd come really close to the original liège waffle. This box contains 8 Liège waffles and 8 mini waffles {wafelinis}, all gluten-free. Just like the original, these are packed with sugar pearls that burst into irresistible aromas, a caramelized flavor and a subtle hint of vanilla.  Our recipe for this waffle is 100% gluten-free, and since they are baked on the same cast iron waffle makers as the traditional liege waffle, there may be minimal gluten contamination in the process.
