Take your time with this one. Aromatically, this wine is smoky-jazz-bar-sexy. A hit of bing cherry, followed by black peppercorn, cloves, white sage and a lift of dried roses. There is a moody dance going on here with concentrated fruit on one hand, and a fresh, energetic burst on the other. Pair with pan seared filet with brown butter and fresh herbs, sautéed chanterelle mushrooms, cacio e pepe, or braised tomatoes with burrata and smoked white beans.  Notes of plum, smoke, cola, Chinese 5-spice, orange, cedar, mushroom and earth.
