Plain endpapers with a name which appears to have been written by a child on FFE. The story is about a group of intrepid explorers who set off to be the first to find the North Pole; many adventures follow including an unexpected six month stay among a colony of natives who live in ice houses while the explorers await the return of spring, and with it, the return of sunlight.
