Staple-bound tan paper wrappers with a brightly colored chromolithographed paste-label by Peto of Alice and her fellow Alice's Adventures in Wonderland characters to front wrapper and an ink stamp "Cotton Made in Ireland" to plain back wrapper with some light, unobtrusive staining to wrappers for is a very lovely copy of the book. [8] leaves: color illustrations. Each leaf with a captioned color printed handkerchief by Peto, measuring approximately 9-1/4" x 9-1/4" of scenes from Alice in Wonderland, mounted to the recto of each blank leaf; each handkerchief is signed "Gladys Peto" in the print.
