The subjects are: Marshal Joffre, Woodrow Wilson, Theodore Roosevelt, Mark Twain, William Jennings Bryan, Seth Low, H. W. Ranger, Charles S. Whitman, David Bennett Hill, Col. Ardolph L. Kline, Samuel Gompers, Ilya Tolstoi, F. Hopkinson Smith, J. J. Pastoriza, Josephus Daniels, Fannie Brice, W. R. Nelson, Frank Bacon, George R. Boynton and Rigo Jansci; each sketch is titles on the mount in Wall's hand, and most have brief notes as to date and place of sketching, with some containing additional detail
