Original variant binding; wallet-style engraved paper wrappers printed in black, front panel with a Grecian urn flanked by ribbon swags and flower garlands within a foliate border (lower part of border on panel next to spine), flap with title below swagged valance within a foliate border, and rear panel with floral basket within a foliate border with the slightest hint of rubbing for what is a stunning copy of the almanac. [24] pp. The almanac contains a title page printed inside of wrapper back panel with "four pence" red-ink duty stamp dated 1799, with 1/2" closed tear at head of gutter, [4] pp. engraved frontispiece "View of St. Pauls and Black Friars Bridge," a calendar for each month of 1799, "A Table Of Kings," "Queens Reigns," "Lord Mayors and Sheriffs from the Year 1798 to the Year 1799," "List of Holi
