Weighted lap pads are used often to help people with sensory processing disorders, autism, dementia, restless legs syndrome, etc. They're also just plain cozy for those of us without any diagnosed conditions, but who appreciate some nice deep pressure therapy.Our weighted lap pads are 19 inches by 13 inches and are filled with poly beads. (6 lb pads are 21 x 15) We use relatively small pockets to ensure even distribution of weight. (Lap pads typically have three long channels. Some may have those channels divided into squares.)
