Approaching Storm

I took this photo off the coast of Maui, Hawaii, as a storm approached, and the image reminds me how the ocean can teach us so many valuable lessons. In many ways, life is like the surf that the approaching storm was pushing at the sailboat. It just keeps coming at us, relentless, some days rougher than others but never the less, it’s always there. Sometimes we need to take a break, gather our thoughts, reenergize, maybe set a new goal and then head back out into the surf we call life.
