Icy Destination

This bald eagle was fishing in early spring on a lake in Minnesota when I managed to catch this photo as he swooped in for a midday snack of lake fish. I love photographing bald eagles because they are so majestic and confident about the world they live in. They teach us to be courageous about life, to have faith in ourselves and to aspire to reach for our dreams. Here’s a Native American blessing that resonates with me: “May you have the strength of eagles' wings,  The faith and courage to fly new heights And the wisdom of the universe to carry you there.”
