A beautiful dichroic Pendant with golden cords on top of sparkling red.  Beautiful Jewelry - Dichroic glass is fascinating as it sparkles and each individual dichroic glass has a transmitted color and a completely different reflected color, as certain wavelengths of light either pass through or are reflected.   The stainless steel chain is 18”   Artistic Process: beautiful dichroic glass cut into a shape capped with a corded dichroic glass and fired in the kiln    Dichroic glass - Thin layers of metallic oxides, such as titanium, silicon, and magnesium are deposited upon the surface of the glass in a high temperature, vacuum furnace. This creates a brilliant coating on the glass that displays more than one color, especially when viewed from different angles.
