mug : hellebore

inspired by a long time admiration of my mothers Portmeirion teapot and attraction to all things Hellebore. the custom decals on the cups are prints of some watercolors I did one winter when the cold dark was getting to me. hellebore always bring springy hope the mug is made from brown stoneware with a layer of white slip dipped on the exterior then glazed with a shiny clear. once the mug is fired, the custom made floral decals are applied and the piece is refired again for a final set. expressed foot and pulled-in-place handle...and slippy finger marks for fun approximately 3.5" dia x 3.5" tall dishwasher + microwave safe  handwashing is ideal...every little bit of extra care helps extend the life of your piece available to be shipped within 3-5 days of ordering, delivery is available in the Richmond area, porch pick-up is an option as well with a little coordination :)
