Feb Lot 15- Gruen 17 Ligne 17 Jewel “VERY THIN” Pocket Watch Movement

This is a nice clean Gruen 17 ligne 17 jewel “VERY THIN” complete pocket watch movement. The movement has good blued moon style hands, a good clean blued sub second hand, genuine factory signed single sunk enamel dial with hairlines and slight imperfections. However, the dial is still quite functional. The watch has a clean 17 jewel nickel open face movement with good balance wheel, hairspring and balance staff. The balance swings freely with good motion. This is a good movement for the Gruen collector, dealer and repair person. The running of the movement will not be guaranteed since it has been stored away for so many years in a watchmaker's movement cabinet.
