This is an Elgin 12 size 7 jewel “MULTI-SIDED” fancy nickel pocket watch. This is a clean 7 jewel open face hinged case pocket watch. This case form and style is very hard to find and collect. This watch has a good glass crystal, good fancy blued hands, genuine factory single sunk signed enamel dial with bold black Arabic hour numerals and a clean multi-sided case with snap front cover and hinged back cover. The case is a good bow, stem, sleeve and crown. This watch has a 7 jewel open face running movement. The watch winds, sets and runs with brisk motion. It was not tested for timing accuracy. This is a good watch for the Elgin fancy cased collector, dealer and repair person.
