This lot contains a Hamilton Watch Co., model 974 Movement No 1044966, 16 Size, 17 Jewels, stem wind and stem set 16 size movement. This should be considered a for parts movement only. The movement does not run but has the all-important good balance staff, balance wheel and hairspring. The watch is clean, has nickel bridges with “Shadow Line” damaskeening and steel screws. The movement has a gilt center wheel, gilt train, and a steel escape wheel. The movement has no whiplash regulator. The movement has no minute wheel and no hour wheel. This is a stem wind and stem set movement. The balance wheel swings freely with good motion. The balance has a tempered blued steel hairspring with the “Breguet” overcoil.
