"Here's a little hidden gem of a seasonal release beer that has become one of my favorite late winter/early spring favorites! It's Tyranena Brewing Company's 'IceHenge' Belgian-Style Dubbel. The Tyranena Brewing Company was established in 1999 in Lake Mills, Wisconsin, and loves to draw inspiration from the surrounding glacial landscape for the names and stories of their brews. The 'IceHenge' moniker here refers to a much more recent and modern "legend" than those given to some of their other signature beers (such as naming their porter after Chief Blackhawk) and apparently derives from a group of loyal tasting-room regulars, constructing their "own stone hedge" out of ice on the frozen waters of nearby Rock Lake.
