Combination of Chlorine and Test Strips Chlorine: Use Wave Chlorine Granules 55% for the disinfection of spa and swimming pool water. The granules are completely soluble and have little effect on pH. They also contain a stabiliser to protect against loss of chlorine to sunlight, making them ideal for daily chlorination. Application - Add WAVE Chlorine Granules 55% into 10 litres of freshwater using a clean plastic container and mix carefully. Slowly pour the solution into the spa or pool water near to the return inlets and rinse out the container thoroughly.   As a general guide, to increase a 1500L spa from 0ppm to 5ppm you will need to add at least 12g of Chlorine Granules. A heaped teaspoon holds approximately 8g of chlorine granules.  Dose Rate - Chlorine Granules 55% to 10 cubic metres of spa or pool water.
