If you know WV, you’ll know that white belt is my passion, but mid 2010s deathcore and deathcore adjacent bands are guilty pleasure. I think that period of music in time will stand on its own in the same way “MySpace deathcore” does. Within that scene, there was one band who was almost the uncontested king. That band was Silence! That’s right! For the first and last time on vinyl I’m happy to present the collected works of Silence on a staggering 2xLP set. Silence once again checks so many boxes for what I love to do with WV. It’s a scene classic with a very collector-focused mentality. The CDs for both of these are super hard to find, so what better way to get a few more copies out there then on a record! . I think no matter how you feel about this genre or Silence in general, you’ve got to recognize that it’s a seminal discography.
