Our stickers are water resistant (no sticker can really be water proof or scratch proof) and are laminated with a water resistant vinyl.  We do not recommended putting anything through the dishwasher.  "Hand wash gently."  They are resistant to scratches, but we can't guarantee they won't scratch under certain circumstances.
