Great mid-60s session recorded in Denmark. This is much closer to hard bop that what you're used to hearing from Cherry, and in that way probably a little more immediately satisfying than a lot of his records. But fear not it is far from middle-of-the-road. New, on Gearbox, for Record Store Day, 2020. Pressed on heavy vinyl, 45rpm for extra oomph. Limited to 2000 copies. This is a very nice record.
