1958 recording. One of the preeminent hard bop sessions with a ridiculous line-up: Jackie McLean, Philly Joe Jones, Paul Chambers, and Art Farmer. Deeply soulful and upbeat. Used copy, Music Matters pressing from 2009. Cover and vinyl are VG++. Cover is basically NM, vinyl has a some very slight surface marks but you have to search for them, and playing is not affected whatsoever. This is a beautiful copy of a great and increasingly rare reissue.
