Prayer Burger Kit

This is a fun, simple and interactive way to help children nurture conversations with God.   Ideal for ages: 3-11   The colorful contents of this activity kit will remind children that prayer is simply talking to God, and most importantly, prayer is being yourself with God.   Just like there’s no wrong way to build a burger, there’s no wrong way to build a prayer!   With the fun and creative activities in the kit children will be encouraged to speak from their hearts, to use their own words, to talk about things that concern or interest them.   Activities in this kit will help children nurture conversations with God.   Prayer is presented as a hamburger that children can build using any of the following ingredients: Bottom bun: opening Cheese: feelings Lettuce: silence Meat: concerns and burdens Mushrooms: miracles Onion: tears Tomatoes: thoughts Middle bun: others (praying for others) Pickles: repentance Ketchup: praise Bacon: Scripture (praying God's Word)   P
