This skirt has tiers of circular ruffles at the side. The front and backs join to the side with a plait. The skirt has a 2" raised waistline and is supported internally with a waistband. The interior waistband closes at center back and the skirt laps closed at side back. The skirt can also be made without ruffles.Although a simple garment, the closure and the interior belt construction can be unfamiliar to modern sewists.
