Peacoat

Black Peacoats on hand now.  Any other color will be late 2025 or 2026. We also still have in stock a few Peacoats from the previous run. Our Peacoat leans more toward our Luxury side, but the same Hardcore Performance Fabric is the foundation.  I was pleased and a little surprised that some of our Peacoats are at work on cattle ranches.  As always, 100% USA, 100% WeatherWool Certified Fine Wool. The history of Peacoats is interesting, and had a strong influence on our Peacoat. Not surprisingly, the design is old enough that there is controversy over where it came from, and when. Some sources will claim origins back to the early 1700s. Some claim the word "pea" is a corruption of a Dutch word referring to a coarse wool. We'll definitely not be making anything coarse! A couple of well-accepted points are that the original Peacoat was wool, and oriented toward sailors.
