The HG-1 was our first offering, our entry into the world of building heirloom quality grinders. We built it around a massive, 83mm burr set sourced from Mazzer, applied our own unique secondary processes to partially season and make them suitable for hand-grinding, and then sealed in the edge with a life-prolonging and completely food safe TiN coating. While we no longer produce the HG-1, those same burrs, along with years of additional refinements, are in our HG-2 grinder.
