Fusing Foundation: Kiln-Formed Glass for Beginners- starts Mar 15

Sunday mornings, 9:30-12:30March 15 & 22 Two 3-hour classes. Tuition $335.00; includes materials and use of tools. NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED! Space is limited; tuition must be paid in advance to reserve your space in a class.  Experience the fun of glass fusing in our comprehensive beginners’ course! In this workshop, we will approach the science of kiln-formed glass with a digestible approach for the layperson, using manageable samples and small projects to illustrate and understand the physical concepts of the art. This workshop is designed to equip students with the knowledge to move forward with their own fusing projects. Learning the basics opens the door to the vast and wonderful world of kiln-formed glass and all that can be achieved with it.  In the first session, students will create a variety of samples to illustrate the basic principles of warm glass; in the second class, they will make their own finished 8” x 8” or 9” diameter fused and slumped plate or bowl.  PLEASE NOTE TH
