Introduction to Flow for Fusers- starts April 25

Saturday, April 25 & Sunday, April 269:30-12:30 each day Two 3-hour classes. Tuition $395.00; includes all materials and use of tools. PREVIOUS FUSING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. Space is limited; tuition must be paid in advance to reserve your space in a class.  Learn to take your kilnformed glass work beyond controlled, linear patterns! In this introductory workshop, we will explore the magical effects achievable in the kiln through the application of heat and gravity. Students will learn how to create elements to capture the organic movement of glass under heat, as well as strategies for recycling discarded projects and samples into usable components for flow work. This is an excellent opportunity to turn your “disasters” into something new and exciting! Methods for calculating the mass of glass required for specific sizes, as well as damming and finishing techniques, will be discussed.  On day one, we will create customized components in a color palette of the student’s choice, which
