Introduction to Pattern Bars- starts June 13

Saturday mornings, 9:30-12:30June 13 & 20 Two 3-hour classes. Tuition $335.00; includes all materials and use of tools during class. Previous fusing experience required. Space is limited; tuition must be paid in advance to reserve your space in a class. Pattern bar making is a fundamental skill for fusers and a fun way to create unique and interesting designs in fused glass. In this workshop, students learn the steps and concepts of pattern bars as they construct a bar of their own design! On the first day, students will learn how to plan and construct their bar. Cutting and layering glass, prepping dams, and design choices will all be covered. In the second class, students will learn to clean and slice their bars on the tile saw. They will then use the slices to create a finished fused glass tile or dish!
