Working Deep: Visual Dimension in Thick Glass- starts Feb 14

Space is limited; tuition must be paid in advance to reserve your space in a class. Working with thick fused blocks of glass offers unique opportunities to create a sense of space in the finished piece! This workshop focuses on developing depth of field in a 6” x 6” or 5” x 7” fused glass block that is thirteen layers thick. Students will learn how to strategically place colored imagery across multiple layers to achieve maximum visual impact. Using a picture or design of their choice as inspiration, students will work with sheet glass, frit, stringers, paint, and more to translate their image into multiple glass layers.
