Also called Grey Dragon, Alocasia ‘Maharani’ is a rare indoor plant for a bright, indirect light location in your home. The distinctive leaves, in attractive shades of gray-green, are stiff to the touch and appear almost prehistoric. This compact, easy-to-grow houseplant has a durable nature and tolerance to the home environment where it makes a decorative statement. ‘Maharani’ is an unusual aroid often called a Jewel Alocasia because of its compact size and unusual leaf markings. It is a hybrid species that displays thick silvery green leaves that are rough to the touch and quite leathery. The plant will generally grow to around 12” in height. Alocasia Maharani is usually grown for its unique foliage and flowering cannot be relied upon. If it does flower, this generally happens in early spring. Alocasia Maharani fl
