Made from organically grown Frantoio, Moraiolo, and Leccino olives on a small family farm in Montefalco, Umbria by brothers Marco and Paolo Bettini, among the first producers in the region to advocate the earlier harvest that results in more flavorful oil. This special Olio Nuovo, Italian for 'new oil,' is released immediately after harvest, rather than being rested for several months as is typical. The result is a vibrantly-colored, intensely-flavorful oil that is celebrated by olive oil lovers worldwide and is perfect to serve alongside crusty bread, poured atop roasted veg, or drizzled over gelato. A truly fleeting pleasure, Oilio Nuovo is available each winter in extremely limited quantities for a short time.
