The warmth and humanity of hand sketching always appealed to me, and I wanted to apply that feel to the medium of digital drawing through Procreate on the iPad. In order to achieve the desired effect, I experimented with different brush settings and blending tools. The first piece I created in this series is “Dandelions”, which are like suns growing beneath our feet, and was inspired by my own mother's love, support, and warmth.
