Soca Pathetique

This composition turns the popular and gorgeous second movement of Beethoven's Sonata Pathétique into an energetic soca. Pair this (possibly as an encore "bomb" tune) with my arrangement of the actual sonata or perform it on its own. Either way, the beautiful melody and up-tempo style will have the audience enjoying it as much as the performers. The middle section is newly composed material that starkly contrasts the Beethoven music, however, will continue pushing the energy and level of excitement. Standard soca patterns from the engine room instruments (brake drum, congas, shaker, scratcher, cowbell, etc.) are a welcomed and crucial addition to the energy of Soca Pathétique!
